Vault Boy, Vault Girl, and a Vault Viking run across the landscape alongside the phrases “Vault-Tec presents” and “The time has arrived”
and your mission starts today.
You have emerged from Vault 76. Follow the official Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide to staying alive in post‑nuclear Appalachia.

FOLLOW THESE
SIMPLE STEPS
Vault Boy speaks to a group of vault dwellers in front of a red mountain range.
1 Chat Up the Neighbors
Band together with your fellow survivors to increase your chances of survival in the brave new world where mutated humanoids are always looking for lunch. You’ll need each other’s help in the coming centuries to rebuild Appalachia.

2 Work Together—or not
Mutated monstrosities and other dangerous creatures have thrived since the bomb fell. You’ll want to rely on your new friends in post‑nuclear Appalachia to protect your settlements and stay alive. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to gain extra XP by lending a hand.

3 Test your missiles
Blast nukes into the night sky with your fellow survivors to create a high‑level zone of rare resources—you never know when you’ll need the power of atomic energy.
How you interact with others determines how well you fare in the largest world ever created in the Fallout series. Tackle the wasteland on your own or join fellow survivors. The way to a better tomorrow is up to all of us.
